We recognise that every woman nominated is a winner! That’s why we celebrate and honour all nominees with special prizes. In addition, the eight category winners, runners-up, and the overall GIFEW Global Evolutionary Woman 2024 will receive prestigious prizes worth up to €15,000.

We encourage the widest possible range of evolutionary women to showcase the bold differences they are making and the causes and commitments they are driving forward in their professional fields or communities.
Award nominees will be considered on their demonstrated vision, authentic leadership, values, and bold actions, as well as the transformative impact they have achieved in their field.

ELIGIBILITY

We recommend that you be nominated by another person so that you can really feel acknowledged. That said, we totally accept self-nominations.
To nominate someone, you must have their permission and we recommend that you work together on the process.
STEP 1 NOMINATOR (YOU):
The nominator completes the first part of the nomination.
This includes submitting:
- Name and email addresses of both nominator and nominee
- Business or Personal website of the nominee
- Tell us why your nominee should be considered for a GIFEW Evolutionary Woman Award 2023 (in 100-200 words).
- Select one of the 8 categories that you are nominating your nominee in.
- Submit your nomination and follow up with your nominee!
The nominator receives a confirmation email that the nomination has been started.
If the nominee does not complete their nomination (step 2) within a few days, the nominator will be notified.
STEP 2 NOMINEE (NOMINATED WOMEN):
The nominee consequently receives an email with a simple form to confirm and complete her nomination.
This includes:
- Their identity statement or strapline (max 1 sentence)
- Uploading a headshot photo (max 10MB)
- Their reflection as to why they would be honoured to accept a GIFEW Award and how that would enable them to further expand on the impact they are making (max 2 sentences)
The nominee and the nominator both receive email confirmation once the nomination process has been completed.
Because this is a two-step process, we recommend that you as the nominators submit your nomination(s) well ahead of the deadline (at least 48 hours), to ensure your nominee(s) has enough time to confirm and complete the nomination.

Award Nominees are invited to share about their nomination. The general public will vote for category winners between 26th September to 10th October 2024. Category finalists and winners will be announced on 20th October at the Award Ceremony.
Step 2 – Judging
To determine the GIFEW Global Evolutionary Woman of the Year 2024, our panel of judges will review all the category winners and select the overall winner. The overall award winner will be also announced on 20th October at the Award Ceremony.
